Tennis Caddy ("we", "us", or "our") is operated by Arutyun Bagramyan. This policy explains what data we collect when you use the Tennis Caddy iOS app, why we collect it, and how we protect it. If you have questions, contact us at support@tenniscaddy.app.

Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (stored as a secure hash by Supabase Auth). Optionally, you can add a display name, username handle, and profile photo.

Equipment data. Racket details (brand, model, grip size, string pattern), string job records (string name, tension, gauge, stringer, date), overgrip records, and ball set usage logs.

Session data. Play session logs including date, duration, session type, intensity, court surface, location notes, match scores, and the rackets and balls used.

Social content. If you use social features, we store posts (with captions and optional photos), follow relationships, likes, and comments. You control who can see your posts via per-post visibility settings (public, followers only, or private).

Subscription information. Your subscription plan (free or premium), trial status, and Apple transaction IDs provided by StoreKit to verify purchases.

Device & preferences. Your device timezone (captured on sign-in), notification preferences, and theme selection.

How We Use Your Information

• Provide app functionality — tracking gear, logging sessions, calculating restring reminders
• Sync your data across devices via secure cloud storage
• Display your posts, follows, and activity to other users according to your visibility settings
• Send local push notifications for restring reminders, overgrip reminders, and weekly summaries (only if you grant permission)
• Verify premium subscription entitlements via Apple StoreKit

Third-Party Services

Supabase. We use Supabase as our backend service for database storage, authentication, and file storage (post images). Your data is stored on Supabase-managed servers. Supabase's privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.

Apple App Store & StoreKit. Premium subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple. We receive only a transaction ID for verification. Apple's privacy policy governs all payment data. We never see or store your payment card information.

We do not use third-party advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or tracking services. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties beyond those listed above.

Data Storage & Retention

Your data is stored on Supabase servers and synced to your device. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.

Your Rights

• Access & export. You can view all your data directly in the app.
• Delete. Go to Settings → Delete Account to permanently delete your account and all associated data.
• Notifications. You can disable any notification category in Settings → Reminders, or revoke notification permission entirely in iOS Settings.

Children's Privacy

Tennis Caddy is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
